Five tower combos that carry entire boards
The single biggest jump in my tower defence play came when I stopped thinking about towers alone and started thinking about pairs. A slow plus a burst. A splash plus a chokepoint. Combinations do things no single tower can.
The classic is a slowing tower feeding into a cluster of high-damage single-target towers. The slow keeps enemies in the kill zone longer, and suddenly your damage output triples without spending a coin more.
Another favourite is pairing splash damage with a corner where the path folds back on itself. Enemies bunch up there naturally, and area damage does brutal work on packed groups.
Debuff towers are underrated. A tower that reduces enemy armour turns your mediocre damage dealers into monsters. Always check whether a game hides one of these in the roster.
Experiment on easy maps first. You want to know your combos cold before the hard waves test them, because there's no time to theorycraft when the screen is full of enemies.
