The first three waves decide your whole tower defence run
After too many failed runs, I finally accepted the uncomfortable truth: I was losing my tower defence matches in the opening minutes, long before the hard waves arrived. The early game sets your entire economy, and messing it up is a slow death.
The temptation is always to build defensive and safe. Resist it. In most tower defence games the early waves are weak enough that you can afford to leave them slightly under-defended and pour resources into economy or a key upgrade instead. That head start compounds.
Placement matters more than raw quantity. One well-positioned tower at a corner where enemies double back is worth two towers on a straight. Spend your first thirty seconds studying the path, not building.
Finally, don't hoard. Unspent resources do nothing. If you're sitting on enough for an upgrade and you can see the wave coming, commit. Hesitation is how good boards fall apart.
Apply these three ideas and I promise your win rate climbs, whatever specific game you're playing.
